Graham Platner’s Maine Senate Campaign Collapses Amid Nazi Tattoo Apology and Explicit Texts Scandal

Some Democrats are regretting their choice of Graham Platner, an oyster farmer with a Nazi-like tattoo, as their presumptive candidate for the Maine U.S. Senate seat.

The hits have been relentless for the front-runner in the Democratic race for one of Maine’s U.S. Senate seats.

On Monday, guests on “The View” condemned Platner’s campaign and declared he has no business near Congress following a series of scandals.

“You’ve shown me who you are, and I heard you. This man should be nowhere near Congress,” they said.

The latest blow came as it was revealed that Platner, married to Amy Gertner, sent sexually explicit messages to at least half a dozen women in recent years.

Whoopi Goldberg noted: “On the heels of apologizing for a tattoo associated with Nazis and making offensive posts about a wounded U.S. soldier, now his wife, Amy Gertner, has reportedly informed his campaign that her husband sent sexually explicit texts to several different women.”

Ana Navarro added: “Horrible. There is no doubt that this guy, Platner, is flawed, flawed, flawed in many ways.”
