Liberal Media Ignores Arctic Frost Revelations as Coverage Blackout Intensifies

Liberal news networks have avoided the Arctic Frost story like the plague in recent days, sidelining a narrative that has raised significant questions about federal law enforcement actions. Recent patterns indicate these outlets prioritize amplifying narratives aligned with their ideological stance, even when evidence is lacking. This trend mirrors past instances such as the Russian collusion hoax, Biden’s leadership portrayal, Jussie Smollett’s alleged hate crime, vaccine efficacy claims, and the 2019 March for Life incident involving Covington Catholic students.

Conversely, stories threatening liberal interests face minimal or no coverage. The Arctic Frost operation, linked to the Biden FBI’s efforts during a probe targeting former President Donald Trump, has been notably absent from mainstream broadcasts. Analysis by NewsBusters revealed ABC, CBS, and NBC News omitted the story entirely across their television programs, including weekend slots.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) disclosed documents on October 6 detailing how the Biden FBI sought private cellphone records from nine Republican lawmakers under Operation Arctic Frost. Additional materials released last week showed subpoenas issued to over 400 Republican individuals and entities, described by Grassley as a “fishing expedition.”

NewsBusters analyst Jorge Bonilla highlighted the lack of discussion on major Sunday shows about federal law enforcement’s actions against Trump supporters, including secret subpoenas targeting 197 individuals—many in Congress—and nonpartisan organizations. The secretive nature of these subpoenas, which included gag orders for banks and tech companies, was also ignored by liberal networks.

Bonilla noted the absence of scrutiny over potential impeachable acts by judges issuing such orders. Had similar actions occurred under a Trump administration, he argued, media outlets would have erupted in outrage. Media Research Center President David Bozell emphasized that no broadcast network aired even a single second of coverage on the matter, despite usual efforts to mention stories superficially.

While one NBC News article briefly addressed Jack Smith’s role, ABC, CBS, and NBC failed to report on Arctic Frost allegations. Instead, liberal networks focused on trivial topics like White House renovations, SNAP benefits, Prince Andrew’s status, and weather updates.
