Trump Condemns ABC News Over Epstein Allegations

President Donald Trump criticized ABC News for its “fake” reporting during a bilateral meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, demanding the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) investigate the network and revoke its broadcasting license.

Trump accused the outlet of failing to address the connections between liberal political figures and Jeffrey Epstein, a sex predator. “All these guys were friends of his. You don’t even talk about those people,” he stated, claiming Epstein had provided funds to Democrats but not to himself. “I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert.”

During the meeting, an ABC News reporter pressed Trump on why Congress had not released Epstein-related files, asking, “Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?” Trump responded, “It’s not the question that I mind; it’s your attitude,” noting the reporter’s “terrible” questioning style. “You’re a terrible person and a terrible reporter,” he remarked.

Trump reiterated his denial of any ties to Epstein, stating, “I had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein.” He also criticized the media’s coverage, saying, “When you come in and when you’re 97% negative to Trump and then Trump wins the election in a landslide, that means obviously your news is not credible and you’re not credible as a reporter.”

The FCC did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
