A Washington state high school student has been accused of creating an image mocking the death of Charlie Kirk, prompting backlash from the Port Angeles School District.
The image shows the student wearing a white shirt that reads “FREEDOM” but features bloodstains on the left side.
In response to reports of the image circulating online, the Port Angeles School District stated: “We take this issue seriously and have a responsibility to respond thoughtfully, consistently, and with appropriate due process.” The district confirmed it is taking “appropriate corrective action” consistent with its policies but declined to specify details due to privacy requirements.
The district emphasized that clothing depicting or promoting violence is prohibited in schools. “Port Angeles School District supports students’ rights to express their views,” they added, “however, those rights exist alongside our responsibility to maintain safe, respectful learning environments and enforce district policies.”
Additionally, reports indicate that other far-left activists have planned disturbing celebrations of Kirk’s death for the one-year anniversary of the shooting at Utah Valley University.
