Two of the internet’s most notorious manosphere influencers, Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate, have been arrested again this weekend in a move that has intensified their legal battle. U.S. Marshals handcuffed the brothers in Miami on Saturday while they were reportedly en route to a bare-knuckle boxing event.
Viral footage of the handcuffing quickly went viral, with the internet immediately fixating on the brothers’ rumpled outfits — particularly Andrew Tate’s choice of a tight and revealing purple blouse.
Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, described the extradition attempt as a “political kidnapping.” By Monday, the focus shifted to a Miami courtroom where the brothers were in tan jail uniforms and remained silent as their legal team vowed to fight the latest extradition effort to the United Kingdom.
Between the two brothers, this arrest round alone adds up to 38 new charges — including rape, sexual assault, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and for Andrew Tate specifically, 19 counts tied to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. The allegations also include an alleged pattern of choking victims to unconsciousness before assaults.
These charges add to the 21 original charges filed by the Crown Prosecution Service in May 2025, bringing their total to 59 charges.
