A San Antonio elementary school teacher has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a fifth-grade student years ago, police said.
The alleged victim reported that Mueller referred to some students as her “favorites” and urged them to kiss during Truth or Dare games. She also reportedly showed the children a pornographic video.
When the alleged victim and Mueller were alone in the classroom, Mueller touched the boy’s leg and kissed him. The victim later told investigators Mueller expressed a desire for more and engaged in sexual conduct with him in a classroom closet.
Police stated there is reason to believe additional victims could exist.
Mueller was hired by the Northside Independent School District in August 2007 and worked at Lewis Elementary School until June 2019, when she transferred to Henderson Elementary School.
