Texas Teens Torture High School Student After Dispute Over Girlfriend, Police Say

Four Texas teens kidnapped and tortured a high school student following an argument over a girlfriend, police records indicate. The victim reported that his captors threatened to cut off his body parts with a chainsaw and machete.

Police identify the suspects — all 17-year-olds — as Jose Rojas-Alvarado, Oscar Armando Santiago-Martinez, Angel Lemus-Perez, and Carlos Roberto Oliva-Villeda.

According to court documents, the suspects threatened to kill the victim and harm his family and friends if he reported the incident to law enforcement. All four have been charged with aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon and engaging in organized criminal activity — both first-degree felonies.

Court records show that the alleged victim left Del Valle High School with three of the four suspects on February 19 and went to a nearby gas station. The student told police he had been friendly with the suspects for approximately two years before they invited him to get food, which led to the abduction.
