Democratic Socialists of America Push for Sweeping Changes: Abolishing Borders, Military, and More

The far-left extremist fringe party Democratic Socialists of America has gained significant traction within the Democratic Party after several DSA-endorsed candidates defeated centrist establishment Democrats in recent elections across New York City and other locations.

Reports indicate that the group is updating its platform to include the elimination of the U.S. Senate and Department of Defense, as well as Congress selecting a new executive branch and judiciary subordinate to itself.

The revised platform also calls for full amnesty for all illegal aliens, an end to deportations, zero restrictions on international travel, and voting rights for noncitizens.

DSA candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier, running for New York’s 13th Congressional District, has advocated for the abolition of borders, police, and prisons. She previously posted, “Fk Kamala Harris” and expressed deep disdain for Democratic Party leadership.

Claire Valdez won the primary for New York’s 7th Congressional District on a platform that includes demilitarizing the border, amnesty for illegal aliens, and ramping up the “Green New Deal” of global warming regulations.

Melat Kiros, running for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District, has pledged to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and has expressed anti-Israel sentiments.

Despite recent electoral victories by DSA candidates, the group has revoked its endorsement of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because she has not been virulently anti-Israel enough for its tastes.

A faction of centrist Democrats has formed an alliance to push back against the socialist movement within their party and empower the wing that defends free markets.
