Singer Olivia Rodrigo has announced her upcoming all-female music festival, which she describes as dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. The event is reportedly providing financial support primarily to pro-abortion and race-based advocacy groups.
Rodrigo gained attention more than two years ago when she partnered with a national abortion network to distribute emergency contraceptives — the morning-after pill — to concert attendees during her tour. After the initiative attracted widespread media coverage, her team terminated the arrangement, instructing the group to cease distributing packages containing two boxes of the pills and promotional codes linked to abortion funds.
The 23-year-old has now taken a further step by hosting her own music festival with the stated goal of promoting “meaningful change.”
In a recent post on X, Rodrigo wrote: “I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true!!”
