Many Angelenos are increasingly angered by the city’s lack of response to recent fires in Los Angeles, according to a new poll showing a majority of residents disapprove of Mayor Karen Bass due to various scandals and controversies.
The survey conducted just two months before Bass seeks re-election found 56% of likely voters hold a negative view of her leadership. Only 31% express favorable opinions.
Bass remains the frontrunner with 25% support among Angelenos, while an additional 25% are undecided. Far-left City Councilwoman Nithya Raman trails at 17%, and reality TV star Spencer Pratt holds third place with 14%.
The poll analysis noted: “That she’s having this much trouble against such a little-known field bodes very, very poorly for her.”
