A former mental health therapy intern at a Florida addiction treatment facility has been accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with her patient, according to official documents.
The alleged victim, a 42-year-old man, reported the incident after his relationship with Michelle Luchau-Rebora—a 32-year-old mental health therapy intern at New Hope C.O.R.P.S.—ended last fall. New Hope C.O.R.P.S. is a residential substance abuse treatment facility for single men in South Miami-Dade County.
According to the arrest report, Luchau-Rebora allegedly facilitated alibis for her patient to leave the facility and engage in sexual activities at her mother’s home and a hospital. The relationship reportedly occurred from June through September 2025 while the patient was under her care.
